What is the Assisted Decision Making Act?

The Assisted Decision Making Act 2015 places a legal requirement on service providers to comprehensively enable a person make a decision through the provision of a range of supports and information appropriate to their condition. If you do not understand any of the information provided to you, and you need help understanding, you should speak to the Director of Nursing who will put whatever measures are necessary in place to assist you in making informed decisions about your care.
